Grace and peace, and welcome to our daily devotionals blog, “333 Words of Grace!” My name is Shawn Brasseaux and I’m the administrator of “arC Ministries” (ambassadors for the risen Christ ministries), a nondenominational grace and young earth creation science ministry.
We are privileged here on WordPress to share the wonderful truths of God’s preserved Word in English, the Authorized Version King James Bible, “rightly divided.” This blog, initiated June 1, 2011, is the home of daily Bible study devotionals designed to evangelize the lost world and edify the Christian saints using sound Bible teaching. We share God’s desire “to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 3:9). Our goal is to “have all men saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4).
We want to help you better understand and enjoy God’s Word so you can discover God’s purpose and plan for us Christians, the Church the Body of Christ, and His will for the heavenly places. Thus, these devotionals are primarily designed to preach and teach the message of God’s grace to us in Christ Jesus, the Gospel of the Grace of God, as presented in the Apostle Paul’s epistles, Romans through Philemon. We also want you to understand God’s purpose and plan for the nation Israel, and His will for the earth. So, we will study all of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, but we will leave Israel’s doctrine with Israel, and not force it upon ourselves or others!
Furthermore, because I am a young earth creationist scientist (geologist), our secondary goal is to equip you the saints with sound (Biblical) scientific information that helps you to better appreciate the design and beauty of creation, so ultimately, you can value the Creator Jesus Christ who is behind the creation.
It is our hope and prayer that these devotionals will be of great help and a blessing to you. We ask that you study the King James Bible with us according to the principle of right division (dispensational Bible study): “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV). if you ever have to choose between science and the Bible, choose the Bible. I believe the Bible, not because science says that I can, but because God says I can.
Amen, Daniel. The Bible ALONE has the power and authority of God. One of my goals as a scientist is to show people that Bible is not anti-science, but to show them that scientists make science anti-Bible.

Hello Terri. Nice to meet you. I’ve received that question a lot about “333,” but I’ll be happy to explain it to you. While developing this devotionals project, I decided that 300 words was a pretty good word limit for each devotional. But, when I began writing the devotionals, I found difficulty working with that number. So, considering that “3” in Bible numerics is representative of God (the Trinity, mainly), I figured that 333 would be better. Interestingly, 333 is much easier to work with than 300 lol. Mainly, I chose 333 because “3” is the number of God in the Bible.
I, too, wondered about the “333.” Not surprised at your reasoning, though. Isn’t it just like our gracious God to ‘effectually worketh’ in the minds of those that believe! 🙂

Why the King James Version? Are there not more accurate versions about?
Hello Clare, I don’t know of a more “accurate” Bible than the King James Bible. Most existing Bible manuscripts (over 5,500) agree with its New Testament readings.
The KJB is based on the Protestant Text of the Reformation–most, if not all, modern English Bibles (produced since 1881) use the Roman Catholic Text of the Reformation.
The KJB’s Greek New Testament (the Textus Receptus) can be traced back to the times of the apostles.
There are no mistakes in the KJB, but there are thousands of mistakes in the modern English Bibles.
The KJB has impacted the English language (and the world) more than any other book.
There are some one billion KJB’s out there.
It has no copyright.
It’s served the Body of Christ for 400 years.
There are many places where God promised to preserve His words perfectly forever:
Jesus Christ said “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35; Mark 13:31; Luke 21:33).
“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever“ (Psalm 12:6,7).
Out of all the English Bibles today, none can exceed the KJB. Its “thee’s” and “ye’s” reflect the precision of the Greek and Hebrew languages (the original Bible languages); modern Bibles simply use “you,” which is true to modern English, but not true to the original Bible languages.
These are just a few reasons why the King James Bible is superior to any English Bible out there. I’d encourage you to find the King James Bible and I invite you to study with us here. Thanks!

Thank you for the KJB info. I’ve researched in-depth the Bible versions for about four years now, and MY OH MY, it’s such a shame that SO MUCH truth about that issue is suppressed (there’s as much false information circulating about the Bible versions issue as there is about dispensational Bible study!).
