Grace and peace, and welcome to our daily devotionals blog, “333 Words of Grace!” My name is Shawn Brasseaux and I’m the administrator of “arC Ministries” (ambassadors for the risen Christ ministries), a nondenominational grace and young earth creation science ministry.
We are privileged here on WordPress to share the wonderful truths of God’s preserved Word in English, the Authorized Version King James Bible, “rightly divided.” This blog, initiated June 1, 2011, is the home of daily Bible study devotionals designed to evangelize the lost world and edify the Christian saints using sound Bible teaching. We share God’s desire “to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 3:9). Our goal is to “have all men saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4).
We want to help you better understand and enjoy God’s Word so you can discover God’s purpose and plan for us Christians, the Church the Body of Christ, and His will for the heavenly places. Thus, these devotionals are primarily designed to preach and teach the message of God’s grace to us in Christ Jesus, the Gospel of the Grace of God, as presented in the Apostle Paul’s epistles, Romans through Philemon. We also want you to understand God’s purpose and plan for the nation Israel, and His will for the earth. So, we will study all of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, but we will leave Israel’s doctrine with Israel, and not force it upon ourselves or others!
Furthermore, because I am a young earth creationist scientist (geologist), our secondary goal is to equip you the saints with sound (Biblical) scientific information that helps you to better appreciate the design and beauty of creation, so ultimately, you can value the Creator Jesus Christ who is behind the creation.
It is our hope and prayer that these devotionals will be of great help and a blessing to you. We ask that you study the King James Bible with us according to the principle of right division (dispensational Bible study): “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV). We strongly encourage you to study the issues we discuss more fully in your own personal Bible study, and if you have any questions or comments, you can email me at arcministries@gmail.com. Thank you for visiting us!

2 Cor. 5:20
Hi Shawn, I am looking forward to your daily devotions. Thanks.
Praise the Lord Janie! To Him be the glory!
if you ever have to choose between science and the Bible, choose the Bible. I believe the Bible, not because science says that I can, but because God says I can.
Amen, Daniel. The Bible ALONE has the power and authority of God. One of my goals as a scientist is to show people that Bible is not anti-science, but to show them that scientists make science anti-Bible.
Congratulations on the new blog Shawn!
Why thank you Andrea!
Hi Shawn, I am just curious about the number 333. It is an interesting number for many reasons. Would you tell me your reason? 🙂 Thanks.
Hello Terri. Nice to meet you. I’ve received that question a lot about “333,” but I’ll be happy to explain it to you. While developing this devotionals project, I decided that 300 words was a pretty good word limit for each devotional. But, when I began writing the devotionals, I found difficulty working with that number. So, considering that “3” in Bible numerics is representative of God (the Trinity, mainly), I figured that 333 would be better. Interestingly, 333 is much easier to work with than 300 lol. Mainly, I chose 333 because “3” is the number of God in the Bible.
I, too, wondered about the “333.” Not surprised at your reasoning, though. Isn’t it just like our gracious God to ‘effectually worketh’ in the minds of those that believe! 🙂
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. …For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. ….And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. [Philippians 4:8; Romans 8:5, 28]
I’m lovin’ your blog, as it gets my mind to thinking on the things of the Spirit.
Grace to you as you labor for His glory!

I thought that might be your answer – good reasoning 🙂 Thanks!
Hi Shawn,
I have been seeing your reference to this site, but have just now checked it. So happy to see daily devotionals. This is such a wonderful way in which to share God’s Word rightly divided. Thanks so much.
Hello Lisse, glad you in enjoy the devotionals. Praise the Lord!
I like your bible studies. It makes me search for more.
However, I am curious about your title “333 Words of Grace”
What does it mean, and why did you chose this title?
Hello Kay. Praise the Lord that you enjoy the studies!
About the number “333.” While developing this devotionals project, I decided that 300 words was a pretty good word limit for each devotional. Glad you asked… good question. Thanks.
Why the King James Version? Are there not more accurate versions about?
Hello Clare, I don’t know of a more “accurate” Bible than the King James Bible. Most existing Bible manuscripts (over 5,500) agree with its New Testament readings.
The KJB is based on the Protestant Text of the Reformation–most, if not all, modern English Bibles (produced since 1881) use the Roman Catholic Text of the Reformation.
The KJB’s Greek New Testament (the Textus Receptus) can be traced back to the times of the apostles.
There are no mistakes in the KJB, but there are thousands of mistakes in the modern English Bibles.
The KJB has impacted the English language (and the world) more than any other book.
There are some one billion KJB’s out there.
It has no copyright.
It’s served the Body of Christ for 400 years.
There are many places where God promised to preserve His words perfectly forever:
Jesus Christ said “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35; Mark 13:31; Luke 21:33).
“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever“ (Psalm 12:6,7).
Out of all the English Bibles today, none can exceed the KJB. Its “thee’s” and “ye’s” reflect the precision of the Greek and Hebrew languages (the original Bible languages); modern Bibles simply use “you,” which is true to modern English, but not true to the original Bible languages.
These are just a few reasons why the King James Bible is superior to any English Bible out there. I’d encourage you to find the King James Bible and I invite you to study with us here. Thanks!
Looks like a great site/blog. I’ll be reading it when I can. God bless!
Glad you found us, Lily! Praise the Lord!
Hi Shawn,
I’m so happy to have found this website! I’ve already shared your explanation for dispensational Bible study (which was excellent!) with my friends on facebook, and I’m enjoying reading your daily devotions as well.
Take care, and keep up the good work!
Robin, praise the Lord–we rejoice in Him that you found us and that we can be of service to you! It’s a privilege to share the truths of dispensational Bible study with others. Thank you for the KJB info. I’ve researched in-depth the Bible versions for about four years now, and MY OH MY, it’s such a shame that SO MUCH truth about that issue is suppressed (there’s as much false information circulating about the Bible versions issue as there is about dispensational Bible study!). I will bookmark that link. Thanks! Titus 2:13
Hi Shawn, just wanted to thank you once again for the enlightment on the word of God today. You have stirred up my curiosity about the bible. You are definitely on the battlefield for the Lord. God less You.
Hello Cynthia! Glad to hear from you–yes, I remember you from Sam’s. I’m just getting back with you, as I’ve been so busy with school and ministry, and I’m recovering from the flu. God’s Word is THRILLING when we simply believe what it says! Hope to continue serving you here!
I’m glad to have run into your blog! Geology is my favorite subject outside of the Bible. Looking forward to hearing more. 🙂
