If our physical posterity could augment its spiritual dexterity, exactly what would that entail?
Sinful man’s musical ability is evident in Genesis 4:21: “And his brother’s name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.” In Exodus 32:1-35, Israel learned from Egypt how to use music and false doctrine to sing and dance naked around their golden calf-idol: “[17] And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp. [18] And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear. [19] And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.”
Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar utilized music for idol worship in Daniel 3:1-18: “[4] Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, [5] That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: [6] And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. [7] Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.”
Finally, the Antichrist’s false religious system, the Whore of Babylon, will rely on musical instruments to praise the Devil in Revelation 18:22: “And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee;….” Satan’s worship service crescendos and is ultimately destroyed when Christ comes back in flaming fire and vengeance….
