“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word” (Psalm 119:9 KJV).
If our physical posterity could augment its spiritual dexterity, exactly what would that entail?
While there are rare exceptions, I have discovered over the last 20 years that, even when shown plain and simple Bible verses, denominational leaders and denominational members are uninterested in changing their views. Why? In place is a lucrative scheme that makes them feel good with their “superior scholarship,” “exceptional piety,” and “addictive entertainment.” They partake of a plethora of benefits (social connections, retirement/pension plans, and so on). Understandably, they are not about to abandon all of this! Though offensive, here it is: the praise of men means more to them than the praise of God (John 12:42,43). “Christianity” is just as corrupt as—yea, is more corrupt than—Judaism was when Christ ministered in Canaan during Matthew to John 2,000 years ago (Matthew 6:1-18; Matthew 15:1-14; Matthew 23:1-39; Mark 7:1-13). Instead of just giving people the truth (thereby losing power over them), these leaders prefer to continue telling spiritual lies so as to keep up their spiritual charade (2 Corinthians 11:13-15) to cheat the immature and naïve masses (Ephesians 4:14)!
The God of the Bible must be “worshipped in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23,24). No matter how great our wishful thinking is, we cannot honestly expect to use a lie to glorify Him because Satan is the one praised with lies (John 8:44). Frankly, our churches and “Christian” schools are replete with spiritual con artists, individuals who say only what their denominations/institutions pay them to say. Contrary to what they tell us (and even insist with immense fervency), we can search the Scriptures to realize they do not speak for the Lord Jesus Christ. They are the spokespeople of the men who trained them to repeat denominational error, fill cold pews with warm bodies, and fill empty coffers with cash, checks, and coins. Water baptism is one such practice to which they are mindlessly attached, tenaciously holding on to it at all costs. Their other “hot topic” is tithing, the source of revenue at the heart of these systems purportedly functioning in the name of “Jesus.” Indeed, we now must present a treatment on the Bible ignorance about tithing….
