“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word” (Psalm 119:9 KJV).
If our physical posterity could augment its spiritual dexterity, exactly what would that entail?
The classic tithing verses seen in “Christian” writings for centuries and heard on “Christian” radio/television/internet programs for decades is Malachi 3:8-11. Observe: “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.”
Following this pattern, a typical appeal for money in denominational systems goes something like this: “If you have not been giving your tithes and offerings, you have robbed God! You had better start giving them, because you are under a curse! Problems are on their way, and, if you fail to give, He will get His money from you somehow—medical bills, repair costs, funeral expenses! Come bring your tithes into the storehouse! Give right now and be blessed of God! He will open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing! There will not be enough room to receive that blessing! Material riches can be yours if you just ‘sow a seed of faith’ at, give generously to, our church! Glory! Praise God! He will rebuke the devourer for your sake! Hallelujah!”
The Prophet Malachi definitely spoke for JEHOVAH God, but are people speaking for JEHOVAH God today when they quote the Prophet Malachi? If we expect to be in God’s will, if we endeavor to sidestep Satan’s deception, then we simply cannot afford to be so gullible like the general “Christian” public regularly is….
