“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word” (Psalm 119:9 KJV).
If our physical posterity could augment its spiritual dexterity, exactly what would that entail?
Remember, the “queen of heaven” (heathen mother goddess) was worshipped with cakes and drink offerings (Jeremiah 44:15-25); the Eucharist follows that pattern, for Roman Catholics call Mary just that! In Romanism, it is thought wafers become Christ’s actual body and juice/wine changes into His literal blood (transubstantiation). Amazingly, the ancient Egyptians believed consecrated cakes became the flesh of the god Osiris. Old Roman religion entertained similar views. Bluntly, supposing Jesus’ body and blood are physically present as bread and wine/juice is not derived from Scripture, but from satanic religions that existed long before He ever instituted the Lord’s Supper!
In the upper room, Christ did not break bread into little round wafers. They were jagged, irregularly-shaped pieces, of course. From whence came the idea to use disks? Millennia ago, heathens utilized them in sun-god worship. Interestingly, at Mass, Roman Catholic priests display the “consecrated Host” (“bread transformed into Christ”) for worship in a monstrance, a frame that resembles a sunburst. Why is the Lord’s “Supper” held in the morning at Protestant and Roman Catholic churches instead of evening or nighttime when the Lord Jesus and His disciples ate it? In ancient heathen religions, holy meals were consumed to worship the rising sun! Fasting was required. Obviously, it is easiest to fast overnight and have the “Supper” in the morning.
Doubtless, such is syncretism—exceedingly (!) clever (!) blends of Christianity and heathenism. Alas, almost no one researches or learns their history (as they should!), so they become easy fatalities of Satan’s evil world system. Those who developed a “Christian” institution based on heathenism simply “corrupted,” “handled… deceitfully,” and “wrested [twisted, distorted]” verses (2 Corinthians 2:17; 2 Corinthians 4:2; 2 Peter 3:15,16). “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away” (2 Timothy 3:5). “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works” (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).
Astonishingly, friend, it grows even worse….
